Cole Rudy took home the Summit Racing JDRL Shootout trophy during the NHRA Potomac Nationals presented by JEGS at Maryland International Raceway. Rudy, near lane, had a reaction-time lead of more than a tenth in the final and used the advantage to defeat Jordyn Willingham on a holeshot, 7.990 (7.92 dial) to 7.908 (7.90). Caden Oliveira swept the 10-12 age group during the NHRA Pacific Division Jr. Series presented by Ted Weins Complete Auto Service weekend at Top Gun Dragstrip in Fallon, Nev.

Matthew Peterson outlasted the field of Jr. Dragster competitors during the NHRA Southern Nationals at South Georgia Motorsports Park to take home the Summit Racing JDRL Shootout trophy. In the final, Peterson, far lane, got off the starting line first, .055 to .099, and turned the advantage into a 7.980 (7.90 dial) to 8.966 (8.88) win against Mila Figueroa.
