Matthew Peterson outlasted the field of Jr. Dragster competitors during the NHRA Southern Nationals at South Georgia Motorsports Park to take home the Summit Racing JDRL Shootout trophy. In the final, Peterson, far lane, got off the starting line first, .055 to .099, and turned the advantage into a 7.980 (7.90 dial) to 8.966 (8.88) win against Mila Figueroa. The next National Shootout will take place at the NHRA Potomac Nationals presented by JEGS at Maryland International

Brian Price doubled up in the 13-14 age group and Carlie Ball swept the Jr. Comp category during the Pacific Division Jr. Championship Series presented by Ted Wiens Complete Auto Service event at Tucson Dragway.

Jake Hodges earned top honors during the NHRA Summit Racing JDRL National Shootout at the Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals, a makeup of the Shootout originally scheduled at the In-n-Out Burger NHRA Finals in November. In the final, Hodges got the automatic nod when Carlie Ball red-lighted. Hodges ran an 8.193 (7.90 dial) on his victory pass. Weston Losko swept the 6-9 age group during the doubleheader Division 2 NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event at South Georgia Motorsports Park. Wyatt Piercy (10-12 Race 1), Westin Webb (13-17 Race 1), Johanna Tillman (10-12 Race 2), and Briella Browning (13-17 Race 2) also earned Service Department Solutions Jr. Dragster Wallys.
