Peterson wins Southern Nationals JDRL Shootout Title

Matthew Peterson outlasted the field of Jr. Dragster competitors during the NHRA Southern Nationals at South Georgia Motorsports Park to take home the Summit Racing JDRL Shootout trophy.

In the final, Peterson, far lane, got off the starting line first, .055 to .099, and turned the advantage into a 7.980 (7.90 dial) to 8.966 (8.88) win against Mila Figueroa.
