Who Can Join the JDRL?

One of the great things about the NHRA Summit Racing Jr. Drag Racing League is that boys and girls of all ages can join! You don't have to race to be part of the scene. However, to actually drive a Jr. Dragster, you must be 5 to 17 years old. You can belong to the NHRA Summit Racing Jr. Drag Racing League as either a non-driving MEMBER or a driver/PARTICIPANT.

MEMBERS
Non-driving members pay just $19 per year. Membership benefits include an official membership card; official member patch, pin, and decal; and the JDRL Rulebook. For a non-driving membership application, call NHRA Membership Services at (626) 914-4761.

PARTICIPANTS
Members who drive Jr. Dragsters are called participants. Participants pay just $34 per year. Membership benefits include an official membership card; official member patch, pin, and decal; and the JDRL Rulebook.

Important: You are not eligible to race until you have your participant card. NHRA will not give you the card until your parents or legal guardians have signed the required Waiver of Liability and Statement of Health forms that NHRA will send them in the mail.
