Kasal Claims Top Honors at Tri-State LODRS Event

Melanie Kasal outlasted the Novak Electric Jr. Dragster field during the Division 5 NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event at Tri-State Raceway in Earlville, Iowa.

In the final, Kensley Wagner, near lane, got off the starting line first, .094 to .151, but carried too much momentum at the top end, breaking out with an 8.149 (8.16 dial). That opened the door for Kasal, who won with a 7.972 (7.96).
