Makenzie Higgins earned the final Summit Racing JDRL Shootout of 2024, outlasting the field at the In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals at In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip.
In the final, Jenna Chesleigh, far lane, got off the starting line first, .006 to .112, but carried too much momentum and broke out with an 11.156 (11.32 dial). That opened the door for Higgins, who turned on the win light with a closer-to-the-dial 11.249 (11.32).
