Luke Bogacki currently races “big cars” in the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series and does so quite well (he’s a three-time champion), but his career started in the NHRA Summit Racing Jr. Drag Racing League. Now, his sons, Gary and Jack, are following in his footsteps, racing Jr. Dragsters of their own, and though Bogacki had experience in the program, that doesn’t mean he didn’t experience some of the stress and challenges all parents face when getting their kids started.
