The 2024 NHRA Summit Racing JDRL National Shootouts kicked off during the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals at zMAX Dragway, and when the dust settled Waylon Bennett was hoisting the trophy.
Bennett, far lane, got off the starting line first, .070 to .114, in the final and never looked back, besting Savannah Highhouse on an 8.921 (8.90) to 7.894 (7.90) count.
