Antonioni Scores Shootout Trophy in St. Louis

Hailey Antonioni outlasted the NHRA Summit Racing JDRL Shootout field during the NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Midwest Nationals at World Wide Technology Raceway.

In the final, Sarah Stewart had the reaction-time edge, but she carried too much momentum on the top end and broke out with a 7.945 (7.95 dial). That opened the door for Antonioni, who turned on the win light with a 7.950 (7.93).
