Gabe Wojnowski took top honors during the NHRA Summit Racing National Shootout at the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals at Summit Racing Equipment Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio. Wojnowski got the automatic nod in the final when Braden Peters red-lighted. Wojnowski celebrated with a .067-initiated 7.967 (7.90 dial) victory pass.

The NHRA Summit Racing National Shootouts will be contested at select NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series events throughout the 2022 season. Each Shootout will feature an eight-car field, and the final round from each Shootout will be included in the event’s national broadcast on FOX and FOX Sports 1.
