Ty Gaynor (Thunder), Ian Theofelis (Lightning), and Summer Field (Jr. Street) outlasted the fields in their respective categories to claim Wallys during the Division 6 Jr. Championships, held in conjunction with the NHRA Summit Racing Series Finals at Firebird Raceway earlier this month.

Gaynor, near lane, turned a two-tenths lead at the Tree into victory over Dalton Olson in the Thunder final round, winning on a 9.062 (8.94 dial) to 8.949 (8.93) count.

Theofelis, near lane, added the Lightning title to his impressive racing resume when he stopped Logan Scrivner in that final. After cutting a .014 light, Theofelis powered to an 8.127 (8.01) to turn on the win light against Scrivner’s 7.969 (7.90).

Field, far lane, paired a .048 light with an on-the-dial 9.689 to defeat Lauren Gaynor in the Jr. Street final. Gaynor broke out with a 10.377 (10.40).
