Luke Hutchinson (age 6-9) won his second Division 2 NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Wally of 2023 and Ella Badgett (10-12) and Troy Barton (13-17) were also victorious in Service Department Solutions Jr. Dragster action at the latest LODRS event, at GALOT Motorsports Park in Benson, N.C.

Hutchinson, far lane, ran right on his 12.11 dial to turn on the win light against Grant Lewis’ breakout 12.163 (12.17 dial) in the 6-9 age-group final.

In the 10-12 title round, Lily Kersnason, near lane, had the reaction-time advantage, but Bagdett was able to drive around her and win on an 8.923 (8.90) to 8.956 (8.90) count.

Barton, far lane, won a thrilling 13-17 class final against Corris Jenkins, pairing a .074 light with an 8.420 (8.41) to best the .086-initiated 7.906 (7.90) of Jenkins by .008-second.
