Lincoln McMaster (age 6-9), Tanner Mocny (10-12) and Corris Jenkins were victorious during the first Division 2 NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series of 2022, at South Georgia Motorsports Park in Cecil, Ga.
McMaster, far lane, got the automatic nod in the 6-9 age-group final when Kylie Mocny left the starting line too soon. McMaster clocked a 12.082 (11.90 dial) on his victory pass.
Daniel Pettit, far lane, got off the starting line first in the 10-12 title round, but he carried too much momentum on the top end and broke out with an 8.893 (8.90). That opened the door for Tanner Mocny, who turned on the win light with an 8.937 (8.90).
Jenkins, near lane, had the better reaction time in the 13-17 class final and held onto his advantage all the way downtrack, defeating Curtis Peek on a 7.934 (7.90) to 7.984 (7.90).
