Lincoln McMaster kept his record perfect in 2022 Division 2 NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series competition, winning again in the 6-9 age group during the second event of the season, at Gainesville Raceway. Troy Barton (10-12) and Hailey Shook (13-17) also outlasted the fields in their respective age groups to earn Wally.

McMaster, near lane, got the automatic nod in the 6-9 class final when Waylon Bennett red-lighted. McMaster celebrated with a 12.078 (11.90 dial) victory pass.

Victoria Beaner, far lane, got off the starting line first in the 10-12 age-group title round, but Barton was able to drive around her and win, 9.002 (8.94) to 9.010 (8.90).

Shook, near lane, earned the win in the 13-17 bracket final when Jada Sexton fouled out. Shook posted an 8.113 (8.06) en route to victory.
