The Wattenbarger family had twice the reason to celebrate when brothers Corey and Colby landed in the winner’s circle at the Division 4 J. E.T. Finals at Ardmore Dragway. Corey outlasted the field in the 15-17 age group, while Colby came out on top in the Race of Champions. Dawson Rogers (age 6-9), Ty Janousek (10-12), and Blakley Badger (13-14) also won titles during the event.
Rodgers hoisted the 6-9 bracket Wally after defeating Racelyn Pavlock in the final. Rodgers got off the starting line first in the match, and never looked back, defeating Pavlock on an 11.916 (11.90 dial) to 11.957 (12.02) count.
After cutting a .006 light, Janousek eased his dragster to an 8.913 (8.94) to turn on the win light in the 10-12 class final against Raysn Humphries, who ran a 9.361 (9.40).
