After doubling up at the previous NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event at Numidia Dragway, the Stack brothers, Evan (age 6-9) and James Jr. (10-12) did it again, outlasting the competition at Atco Dragway. Justin Handwerk bested the 13-17-year-old age group to join them in the winner’s circle.

Evan Stack, near lane, kicked off the Stack family double when he stopped Natalie Olt in the 6-9 age-group final. Stack got off the starting line first in the match and never looked back, defeating Olt on a 12.081 (12.01 dial) to 12.113 (12.06) count.

James Stack Jr., near lane, also got the reaction-time edge in his final againast Kaden Paone, and he turned the lead into an 8.924 (8.90) to 8.936 (8.90) win.

After leaving the starting line first, .045 to .054, Handwerk wheeled his dragster, near lane, to a 7.951 (7.91) to defeat Jax Barton’s 8.428 (8.37).
