Nolan Callahan (age 6-9), Hailey Peterson (10-12), and Aaron Reynolds (13-17) scored the first NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Wallys of the 2021 season after outlasting field in their respective classes at the Division 2 opener at Orlando Speed World Dragway.

In the 6-9 final round, Callahan, near lane, got off the starting line first by more than a tenth, and he used the advantage to defeat Camden Teel, 12.073 (12.05 dial) to 11.889 (11.90).

The 10-12 title round was a battle of siblings with Hailey Peterson, near lane, defeating brother Matthew for top honors. Hailey had the reaction-time advantage, .020 to .069, and she turned that into a 9.104 (9.06) to 8.971 (8.95) win against Matthew.

Reynolds, far lane, got the automatic nod in the 13-17 final when Lauren Hudson red-lighted. Reynolds clocked a 7.932 (7.90) on his victory lap.
