Mother Nature cut the 2020 Division 2 Jr. Championships weekend short, but not before the Race of Champions portion of the event was completed. Victoria Beaner (age 6-9), Hayden Land (10-12), Dawson McLendon (13-17), and Katie Craft (Jr. Street) outlasted the fields to claim the Wally in their respective categories.

Beaner, near lane, ran right on her 11.90 dial to turn on the win light against Forrest Radford in the 6-9 Race of Champions final. Radford wasn’t far behind with an 11.953 (11.94 dial).

Land, far lane, left the starting line first in the 10-12 Race of Champions title round and never looked back, defeating Ava Ward on an 8.934 (8.90) to 9.047 (8.98) count.

McLendon, near lane, paired a .012 light with a dead-on 7.900 to win the 13-17 Race of Champions final against Bud Trammell II, who put up a strong effort with a .028-initiated 7.890 (7.90).

Trammell, near lane, also made it to the Jr. Street Race of Champions final, in which he again finished as the runner-up. Trammell left the starting line first, but Craft was able to drive around him and win on a 10.298 (10.20) to 10.267 (10.10) count.
