After finishing as the runner-up at the first Northeast Division NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event, at Virginia Motorsports Park, James Stack Jr. was able to go the distance at Maple Grove Raceway. Stack defeated James Antonette to claim the 6-9 title.Tyler DePascale, who dominated 6-9 competition last season, added another Wally to his collection when he bested Frank Aragona III in the 10-12 age-group final. Wade Kubicke also made it to the winner's circle, defeating Natalie Musolino for the 13-17 class trophy.
